Submission Terms

Your art and manuscripts remain yours and yours alone. These terms apply however you submit to the character challenge, whether through this website, our Discord, or YouTube comments.

By submitting, you give Redacted Wake permission to:

• view your submission,
• post and host it on this website, and
• showcase it in a YouTube video, including talking about what we liked about it.

That is all. This permission is not exclusive, so you can do anything you like with your work.

Submitting does not give Redacted Wake the right to:

• claim your work as our own,
• sell it, or
• use it in our own stories or other original works.

We would only use your art or writing in an original Redacted Wake work with your explicit written consent. Submitting to the challenge is not that consent.

Submitting your work does not mean Redacted Wake owes you any money, including if a video featuring your work earns revenue.

You must be 18 or older, and your submission must be your own original work or work you have the rights to submit.

To ask us to remove your submission, write to redactedwake@gmail.com. We will remove it from this website, and if your work was included in a YouTube video, we will remove that video too.
